Guardianships

Where an individual is unable to manage his or her own affairs through infirmity (of mind or body), it is necessary for a person or persons to be appointed by the Royal Court of Guernsey as a guardian to do so.  Such an application to the Court must be supported by close relatives (or friends) of the infirm person, and appropriate medical evidence.
