Criminal

AFR has represented defendants in many of the more high profile cases seen before the Guernsey Courts in recent times, ranging from homicide, the importation of drugs and possession of counterfeit money.  AFR has also represented clients across the whole spectrum of criminal matters concerning adults, young offenders and juveniles. 

The lead advocate in the majority of these cases is Sara Mallett who has honed her interest and expertise in criminal matters since she qualified in 2003.  Sara deals with both private and legal aid matters.  Sara has assisted in cases where an individual’s mental health or learning ability has been a critical factor, and has always ensured the best representation for her client. 

Rachel Eeles has joined this department and complements the services offered with her own proven expertise in handling a broad range of criminal matters.

Each case to Sara and Rachel are important; they ensure that clients fully understand the process they are going through, their options and likely outcome.
