Sara was educated at the Grammar School in Guernsey and obtained a Law Degree from the University of Southampton. She was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2004, and became a partner of AFR Advocates on 1st January 2010. 

Sara continues to build on her extensive criminal and childcare practice. She has acted in several high profile criminal cases, including acting for a defendant on a murder charge and representing an accused at trial on drug trafficking charges. She continues to be considered a leader in criminal and childcare matters. Sara is also able to advise on inheritance.

Sara is actively involved with various local charitable entities, including the Befrienders Scheme, and is also County Child Protection Officer for the Guernsey Football Association.  She has also been appointed Chairperson to the Guernsey Contraceptive Service LBG.
