Simon obtained his law degree at Nottingham University.  He was called to the English Bar in July 2005 and is a member of Middle Temple.  He was awarded the Campbell Foster Prize by Middle Temple following completion of his studies.  Simon was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2007, and became a partner of AFR Advocates on 1st January 2010. 

Simon focuses on commercial litigation, principally in banking, trust and contractual disputes, and appears regularly before the Royal Court.  He is often instructed in relation to employment matters, particularly on claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal.  He is also instructed on non-contentious employment matters including drafting employment documentation and advising on restructuring and redundancy.  He is a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association (ELA).

In Chambers Europe 2010, Simon Geall is recognised for employment issues as "up-and-coming" .... and commended as being "... unflappable and is steadily making a name for himself".

Simon also acts for clients in property and private client matters, including residential conveyancing and housing and planning appeals.
